Jan 4, 2016- Grande International Hospital has started geriatric medical facilities and home health programme services.
Marking its 4th year of establishment on Sunday, the hospital has initiated services led by Dr Sara Chhetry to cater to the need of elderly patients. According to the hospital, Dr Chhetry has many years of experience practicing in Canada and has recently joined the hospital as full-timer.
Dr Chakra Raj Pandey, Medical Director of the Hospital, said the department will ensure a quality health care and love to the elderly patients. "Many exercises and skills will be taught to these patients to ease their life," said Dr Pandey.
He said the home health programme will help the patients get a proper health care right at their home with involvements from doctors, nurses and physiotherapists.
"Children residing abroad can now provide a proper health care to their parents based in Nepal," said Dr Pandey. "This means we have tried to extend hospitals right inside the households."
The hospital will provide the service based on the need of patients.
Also on its anniversary, the hospital said Dr Bhagwan Koirala, a renowned cardio-surgeon, will begin his clinic at the hospital.
