JOB DESCRIPTIONS

Job Title        :  Cashier

Level              :  Assistant

Qualification :  +2 from recognized Institutions

Experience    :  Preferably working experience in related field/Fresher

Reporting To:  Unit Incharge/HOD

Job Summary: Responsible for making prompt and accurate billing of patients ensuring smooth operation of the department.

Role and Responsibilities:

  1. Provide accurate and complete information to queries made by patients and visitors in a professional way and receive the calls.
  2. Make billing of patients’ i.e OPD billing, IPD billing (Admission and Discharge), Wellness billing and Pharmacy billing etc.
  3. Handle cash and make credit bills of insurance and others as per MOU and credit bills settlement effectively.
  4. Balance daily transactions at the end of each day.
  5. Make Bank deposits.
  6. TATs & promissory notes filling.
  7. Prepare Refund report.
  8. Patient Follow up for top up deposit discharge and bill clearance.
  9. Shift end Card Settlement.
  10. Make proper handling & care of equipments used in Billing Unit.
  11. Check Discharge File and update file of admitted patients.
  12. Report to IT Department about Surgeries and Procedures Details of Operation Theatre.
  13. Counsel Patients and their visitors about bed rates, insurance facilities (domestic and foreign) and discount facilities signed by the hospital with different sectors such as banks, corporate office etc.)

Job Title        :  Assistant – Account

Level              :  Assistant

Qualification :  +2/Bachelors in Management from recognized Institutions

Experience    :  Minimum 1 year of working experience in related field

Reporting To:  Head of the Department

Role and Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare Daily Credit Bills Details Report.
  2. Prepare Daily Collection & Revenue Report.
  3. Debit Note, Contra & Journal Vouchers Entries.
  4. Monthly Debtors ageing with department wise (Debtors, Yatayat, Staff Insurance, foreign Insurance & Corporate) and reconciliation.
  5. Follow up concern department, corporate and individuals to recover the due bills.
  6. Monthly VAT Purchase Book, VAT Sales Register and VAT reconciliation.
  7. Monthly Proportionate VAT calculation & entry.
  8. Handle Petty Cash if needed.
  9. Assist on Fixed Assets Additions, Vendor, Bank & Account reconciliations and transfer Purchase vouchers.

Job Title        :  Assistant – Front Office

Level              :  Assistant

Qualification :  +2 from recognized Institutions

Experience    :  Preferably hospital working experience in related field/Fresher

Reporting To:  Incharge – Front Office / AGM – PCS

Job Summary: Responsible for providing quality services to the patients & visitors whoever come for OPD services and response to any queries made by patients and visitors.

Role and Responsibilities:

  1. Receive and greet patients, attendants, visitors, vendors who come to our hospital.
  2. Provide overall information of the hospital.
  3. Register and take appointment of walk in patients who visit our hospital for OPD.
  4. Provide appointments to walk in and follow up patients who report for consultation with the doctors.
  5. Receive internal and external calls
  6. Prepare hospital registration card of all new patient.
  7. Manage transportation and ambulance services
  8. Check availability of Wheel chair, oxygen cylinder, patient trolley at front
  9. Check the Television and ensure it is running smoothly.
  10. Ensure front office area is always kept neat & clean.
  11. Provide appropriate response to inquiries and requests from patients/ clients
  12. Provide prompt information to senior when there is visit of VIP
  13. Inform Senior incase of any complaints of patient
  14. Undertake other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Incharge/Head of the Department and Hospital Management as and when required.

Job Title        :  Assistant – Call Centre

Level              :  Assistant

Qualification :  +2 from recognized Institutions

Experience    :  Preferably hospital working experience in related field/Fresher

Reporting To:  Incharge - Call Centre/AGM– PCS

Job Summary: Responsible for providing accurate and complete information to queries made by patients & visitors.

Role and Responsibilities:

  1. Answer the queries of patients /visitors.
  2. Handle the phone call and provide appropriate timing of Doctor’s.
  3. Take appointment strictly.
  4. Handle the internal & external call.
  5. Give information about Doctors leave handover to concern department.
  6. Give information about Heli rescue to Heli Rescue Co-ordinator.
  7. Mostly & every week except Saturday confirm about the timing of ENT, Ortho, Neuro with the respective Doctor’s.
  8. Make confirmation call to the patients for appointment.
  9. Inform to all the patients about the changing time of doctors and also give information to the cash, reception, registration & OPD also.
  10.  Deal with Transportation issues at night shift.
  11. Undertake other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Incharge/Head of the Department and Hospital Management as and when required.
